In 1997, Westminster Towers became the first retirement campus in South Carolina to be accredited by the National Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. Our mission is to provide services that inspire, encourage, and empower seniors while demonstrating the love of Christ to support individual well-being.

Today, our community offers 131 Independent Living apartment homes, 29 Assisted Living suites, 22 Medicare Certified Short Term Rehabilitation rooms, and 22 Long Term Care rooms. In 2008, HomeBridge, an extension of the ministry of Westminster Towers was founded, providing non-medical caregiver services to Westminster Towers residents and the community.

Westminster Health and Rehabilitation is a Not-for-profit organization that provides Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation services. We serve our residents with Integrity, Respect, Excellence, while striving to Enrich their lives.

We are searching for individuals who will provide quality, compassionate care to the seniors we serve. The successful candidate will work well within the interdisciplinary team, and will help to create a comfortable and positive environment for our seniors and their families.

Tasks:

  • Provide guidance to LPNs and CNAs
  • Administer medications, provide vaccinations, and render treatment to senior adults.
  • Communicate with physicians, CNAs, and other nurses regarding resident care.
  • Participate in creating a plan of care and charting for each resident.
  • Respond to inquiries and concerns from residents and their families.
  • Assist with patient education for discharge planning.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 3+ years RN experience, preferably working with seniors.
  • Valid Nursing License.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in when needed.
  • Working knowledge of South Carolina health care laws and regulations.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Work Schedule:

Provides care for residents which require a skilled level of personal attention in the
Health Center. This care will include all activities of daily living, ambulation, and emotional assistance and support.

Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.

Identify special resident problems and report them immediately to Charge Nurse.
Provide direct resident care as assigned.

Conduct resident rounds every two hours and more often as needed.

Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action.

Assume accountability for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the unit assigned and within his/her span of control.

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

  1. Certified by the state of South Carolina as a Nursing Assistant
  2. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  3. Must be able to relate to the elderly.

Director of Nursing

We are looking for an experienced Director of Nursing for our 44-bed skilled nursing facility to lead, organize, and oversee all nursing operations of the facility. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a collaborative/cohesive, hospitable, effective, and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies. You will oversee and support all nursing personnel in achieving their highest potential in caring for residents. A director of nursing should be a hard-working and compassionate registered nurse who has steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. Being efficient, dedicated, action-oriented, a good listener, and problem-solver is what will open our door for you. The goal is to foster an environment which exhibits regulatory compliance and demonstrates excellent clinical outcome while simultaneously being warm, welcoming, and inviting to all that enter the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, oversee, and evaluate all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPNs, etc.)
  • Guide staffing procedures
  • Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department

Westminster Towers is a not-for-profit, locally owned, and operated Life Plan community that has been serving seniors since 1989. Job Description

The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment where staff are highly engaged and focused on striving to provide the highest level of care and compassion to patients, residents, and families.

The successful candidate will be a strategic driver of business results, possess the proven ability to execute a daily plan and deliver excellence in customer service.

About the Position: As Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall operations, leadership, management, and success of this center. Will be responsible for attracting and retaining top performing team members. Responsible for financial management, quality assurance, regulatory management, business development goals, maximization of revenue, family relations, and resident care.

Committed to performing regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness, and appearance of the facility; morale of the staff; and ensures patient/resident needs are being addressed.

Qualifications:

  • South Carolina Nursing Home Administrator License (Required)
  • Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator.
  • Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
  • Excellence interpersonal skills; well-developed written and verbal communication skill
  • Desire to enrich resident and staff’s lives
  • 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
